Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026 • Effective immediately

Our Core Privacy Guarantee:

At Y2MP3 (y2tomp3.com), we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Unlike legacy converters that bombard users with popunder ads, cookies, and spyware trackers, Y2MP3 does not collect your personal data, does not require an account, and does not sell or share any user telemetry.

01.No Personal Data Collection

You can use Y2MP3 completely anonymously. We do not require registration, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, or billing information. We do not maintain user profiles or associate search queries with personal identities.

02.Zero Ad Networks & Third-Party Trackers

Y2MP3 is 100% free of invasive advertising networks. We do not deploy third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral retargeting pixels (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Ads Remarketing), or popunder injection scripts.

03.Conversion & Stream Processing

When you enter a YouTube link or query, our backend processes the request in real time using memory buffers and ephemeral transcoding pipes. Converted audio and video files are cached only temporarily to ensure fast downloads and are automatically deleted after a short window. We never permanently archive converted files.

04.Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking cookies. The only client-side storage we utilize is standard browser localStorage to remember your theme preference (dark or light mode) on your own device. This data never leaves your browser.

05.Server Logs & IP Addresses

Like all web servers, standard non-identifying server logs (such as request timestamps, HTTP response codes, and browser user-agent strings) are processed transiently for routing, DDoS prevention, and rate-limiting abuse protection. These operational logs are rotated and purged on a routine basis.

06.GDPR & CCPA Rights

Because we do not collect or retain personal data, there is no personal data repository to inspect, export, or erase. However, if you have any questions regarding data rights under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you are welcome to reach out to us.

07.Contact Privacy Officer

If you have questions, feedback, or concerns regarding our privacy practices, please contact us directly via email at privacy@y2tomp3.com or visit our Contact Us page.
